CARs
(Controlled Articular Rotations)
In our clinic, in our coaching sessions, and in class, we use a comprehensive movement system called CARs [Controlled Articular Rotations], a rubric to assess, treat and train all major joints. You will want to invest in learning CARs to work with us. Start with the video tutorials below.
CARs scale in intensity. The lowest range is the Daily or Morning CARs routine. Treatment CARs are used as assessment and manual therapy in the clinic. Training level CARs can start light and scale up from there, adding max effort irradiation (internal load) as well as external load. We recommend beginning with Daily CARs, and making them a part of your routine. Once you know them, you own them for life.
Daily CARs
Once you know CARs, running through them as a daily routine shouldn’t take you more than 10 minutes. Daily CARs simply express and conserve the range you have. Daily CARs keep you from regressing.
Treatment CARs
CARs are also used in the clinic, as an assessment tool that help us pinpoint specific deficiencies and restrictions. You must know the CARs to work with us.
Training CARs
CARs are infinitely scalable— from daily maintenance to high-level athletic training. We use this system in our clinic, in our coaching sessions, and in classes.
