3 Shoes We Tested that Allow Feet to Move
Hey gang, we see all kinds of spine hip, knee, and ankle issues in the clinic which so often lead lead back to the foundation: the FEET.
The feet make up 1/4 of all the bones in the body, contain 66 joints, and have over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments. That means the feet call for a TON of movement. And where possible, we try to support MAXIMUM MOBILITY in the feet.
Sometimes that means we'll train BAREFOOT. Or, we'll hold clinic, coaching, or class sessions which TEACH HOW TO STRENGTHEN arches and toes and increase mobility and function in both the feet and ankles.
Other times that means we'll try out some types of SHOES THAT ALLOW THE FEET TO MOVE MORE. Ellie has been testing out 3 pairs from a company called Xero Shoes. Their motto is "Live life feet first."
Pair 1: The Prio Running & Fitness Shoe
Pair 2: The Gracie Rain Boot
Pair 3: The Tari Leather Boot
