Why Getting More Range in the Hip Joint Matters

In Kinstretch the other day, CJ explained why it's vital to train the hip JOINT, not just the muscles around it.

The muscles help move the femur relative to the pelvis and vice versa. But, if there’s LIMITED SPACE in the hip socket due, then that movement cannot happen.

The hip has LOST RANGE. The muscles stop being able to contract into those ranges. And then the power, force, and load-bearing capacity of those MUSCLES BECOMES LIMITED.

A JOINT THAT DOES NOT HAVE FULL RANGE will ALWAYS be missing some amount of STRENGTH. For STRONGER hips, we must first CREATE MORE SPACE in the joint itself.

Strength follows space.
